THE HORACE BATTEN BOOTJACK

patented on the 18th June 1929 by Horace Batten (the fourth generation of Batten bespoke bootmakers) and was originally manufactured in wood. The bootjack was designed to remove the tightest fitting riding boots. It holds both the heel and the toe enabling the greatest possible force to be used in removing the boot.

The virtues of the bootjack remain undiminished to this day and now that it's manufacture is cast iron it can be kept outside. The Horace Batten Bootjack will, undoubtedly, enhance any equestrian establishment.

Bespoke bootjacks in a wood of your choice are also available.
