At Horace Batten Bootmakers, we specialise in bespoke English riding and hunting boots, combining traditional craftsmanship with carefully selected products designed to maintain and protect fine leather footwear.

Our range of boot polishes has been developed to help preserve the appearance, quality and longevity of your boots. The Black Cavalry Wax is specially formulated for wax calf leather, protecting the leather while producing a professional, polished finish. Our Army Brown and Black A Creams are suitable for both boots and shoes, restoring rich colour and producing a high shine.

The Mahogany A Cream is ideal for coloured hunting boot tops, including Mahogany and Plum, adding depth of colour and a refined finish. We also offer a Neutral A Cream, used in our own workshop as the final stage of polishing to nourish the leather and enhance shine on any leather boots or shoes.

Our traditional Black Wax Boot Polish, also available in Medium Brown, is a quality beeswax polish specifically designed for wax calf leather that requires boning. Mahogany, Mid Tan and Melton Tan shades are particularly well suited to hunting boot tops.

All polishes are supplied with a sponge applicator for easy use. Simply apply with the sponge, allow to dry, then brush to a shine.

Originally developed to complement our own boot range, these polishes are equally suitable for any quality leather boots or shoes.
