The Horace Batten Hunting Boot Care Kit for wax calf hunting boots contains everything you need to care for your new or well-loved boots.

The kit includes:

1 x large genuine horsehair shoe brush
1 x tin of top polish, depending on the colour of your boot tops
1 x tin of Black Cavalry Wax
2 x application sponges
1 x bottle of specially formulated leather oil
1 x deer bone
1 x bar of beeswax

When used correctly, this care kit will help prolong the life of your boots and ensure you are well turned out at every meet.

We now sell a range of our own leather polishes, specially developed to complement our boot range. Horace Batten Black Wax Boot Polish, also available in Medium Brown, is a traditional beeswax polish specifically designed for wax calf leather boots which require boning.

We also offer a range of cream polishes designed for French box calf leathers, available in Mahogany, Mid Tan, Army Brown, Melton Tan, Dark Brown and Black. Each tin comes with a sponge for easy application: sponge on, allow to dry, then brush off.

The included deer bone and beeswax are used as part of the traditional wax calf finishing process, helping to smooth and refine the leather surface when carried out correctly.
